The Tradewind Islander gaff rigged cutter at 32 ft. is the bigger sister of the Atoll. This increase in size is immediately noticable on deck but also translates into much more interior space for comfort and storage.
Her original multi-chine hull form offers a vast interior space and guarantees excellent sailing qualities. Going to weather she gently nestles on her top chine that also increases water line length providing a pleasant amount of speed. Like all yachts in the Tradewind range she comes with CE-A certification which makes her suitable for global cuising.
Her stunning interior takes our clients back to a traditional sailing era. She has a large comfortable double berth forward with a vanity unit and large hanging locker. In the main cabin she has two settees doubling up as bunks, a pilot bunk, a spacious galley, a full sized navigation table and ample storage space. There is a wet room with fitted sea toilet and shower moulded in grp for easy cleaning. If required there is enough space to build two separate cabins or an extra pilot berth, depending on our clients specification.
The high-spec quality of the materials used in building the Tradewind Islander guarantees a minimum amount of maintenance. “Treadmaster” non slip had been applied to the deck, which increases safety and ease of handeling. The attention to detail and the quality of the woodwork is continued outside with solid teak and stainless steel fittings as well as on the mast, gaff and bow sprit. The well protected and comfortable cockpit has spacious lockers.
