The Kielder 9’ to 16’ range of traditional dayboats are GRP copies of the classic wooden clinker built Mc Nulty Longstone. The Kielder can be fitted out and used as sailing dinghy, rowing boat or yacht tender. Especially the 16’ can be used for camping trips and because of their ease of handeling are very popular with sailing schools. The Kielder is the ideal complement as a tender to your classic yacht.
The boats are buit to the highest standards using high-spec materials with an impeccable finish and are very robust. All spars are Oregon pine and finished with 6 coats of varnish. The hull is double skinned and is very buoyant, in the cockpit waterproof storage lockers come as standard.
The Kielder is delivered complete and ready for sailing including fenders, running rigging and mooring ropes. There is a choice in sail colours, a classic creme or tan. The following hull colours are available, Navy blue, dark green, burgundy or black. All boats come with a white boot top as standard.
